Position Overview

As a Salesforce Quality Assurance, you will develop and implement quality assurance policies. You will conduct test and inspections of products to report and document findings. You will identify production, process, or product issues, and present solutions. You will help our company’s products and services maintain the highest quality standards. You will work along side the operational team to review the overall functional and non-functional requirements, while keeping a user’s perspective in mind.

Position Responsibilities

• Tests application for quality assurance and creates reports.
• Define end to end testing process and methods in Salesforce environment including cross system integrations across multiple work streams.
• Review user stories and translate them into test plans and test cases.
• Provides support by recreating and solving customer technical issues.
• Engage in a high level of communication and work closely with other BAs, Project Manager, and Developers to deliver high quality software products.
• Execute test cases/scripts to ensure delivery of quality software, and log/track defects.
• Participate in business requirements and technical requirements meetings and all Agile ceremonies.
• Identify dependencies in requirements that may have an effect on other business processes or IT systems.
• Test Salesforce integrations with external systems and creates reports.
• Help test automation team in understanding the scope of story and different test cases executed for the same.
• Perform backend database testing in SOQL environment, including validating CRM data, processes, jobs, and triggers.
• Define automated regression testing process and framework, including UI, backend, Salesforce components and integrations.
• Research and find opportunities to utilize SFDC QA best practices, guidelines to improve system productivity, scaling and monitoring.
• Drive end to end security review process for Salesforce AppExchange listing.
• Communicate the value and ROI of QA activities, including test automation.
• Participate and conduct smoke testing for monthly/weekly release process.
• Helps assist in creating documentation.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Applicant Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
•Thorough understanding of QA processes and procedures, with an aim towards continual improvement.
•Knowledge of and experience with SQL.
•Experience with agile projects and test-driven environments.
•Prior experience with Salesforce (or related CRM).
•Prior experience in automated testing.
•Prior experience in development/coding or aptitude (Test Scripts).
